Reversible Reactions question

Hi, does a reversible reaction always do more work than an irreversible reaction? If so, why? and if not, then when does an irreversible reaction do more work?

A reversible process is more efficient than an irreversible process because there is less heat lost to the environment in a reversible process (and theoretically there is 0 heat lost in a perfectly reversible process). The internal energy is stated by the equation:
UInternal = W+Q
if Q = 0, then the internal energy is converted entirely to work!
UInternal = W
