Usage of PV=nRT

Postby Joe Zaarour 2L » Sun Feb 07, 2016 6:37 pm

Work=-PdeltaV. Can we replace -PdeltaV with -nRT? Or can we only replace it with -nRT if the gas is ideal?

You can replace it! Try to figure out which equation to use based on the equation that they give you.

You can definitely replace it since PV is equivalent to nRT. The ratios and everything would be the same so it would be totally okay!
