Deriving Formula on Midterm

Postby 904608194 » Tue Feb 09, 2016 8:56 pm

On the midterm, can we jump straight to using w=-nRT(ln[V2/V1]) or do we have to briefly show the steps of its derivation from the formulas on the reference table?

Use any and all formulas directly.
Unless I ask you in the question to derive it, which is rare. If asked to derive a formula then all steps and assumptions/concepts need to be stated.
