Constant Pressure

When you are given a reaction with a delta H value, why do you always assume pressure is constant?

When given delta H, we always assume it is at constant pressure because we know that q equal delta H at constant pressure.

Unless it states otherwise, I think we are allowed to assume that pressure stays constant
