Under what conditions is work equal to 0? What is delta U in this case?

Work is equal to 0 when the conditions are isochoric (constant volume). An example of this is a bomb calorimeter.

Also in Free Expansion, w is equal to 0. In this case, deltaH will also be equal to H.

Work is equal to zero when the system does not undergo any change in volume. In this case, Delta U is simply equal to q since w (work) is equal to zero.
