Re: thereotical yield
The theoretical yield will usually be in grams, since grams are usually used as the units in the question and with things like molar mass (grams per mole).

Re: thereotical yield
If by some chance the answer is large enough to be written in the unit kilograms, then that should also be an acceptable answer because kg is a base SI unit used for mass. Otherwise, grams is perfectly acceptable.

Re: thereotical yield
Normally theoretical yield is in grams, but if the number is extremely small or large you may want to convert the grams to milligrams or kilograms in order to make the answer easier to understand. In other words, yes, theoretical yield is typically in grams, but it can be any SI mass unit (g, kg, mg, ng, hg).

Re: thereotical yield
Theoretical yield can be in moles or grams, depending on the question. The question may ask for the answer in one form or the other, or it may accept either answer.

Re: thereotical yield
Typically, the theoretical yield is based on grams unless asked otherwise. It is a rare case for the theoretical yield to be in moles or any other unit.
