You do not need the actual yield to calculate the theoretical yield. You would just solve for the resulting mass of your desired product, which includes multiplying the number of moles of the product by its molar mass.
The theoretical yield actually doesn't have to depend on information on percent or actual yield. Theoretical yield just means the maximum yield that a product can be based on a chemical equation. So, the theoretical yield is can purely be based on calculations, stoichiometry, and molar ratios from the chemical equation. Hope this helps!
The theoretical yield can be directly calculated by the number of moles of reactants given in the problem(or obtained from the grams used). You would use the mole-to-mole ratio in a balanced chemical equation to find out how many moles of products are produced and convert it into grams. This is called theoretical yield because when you are only using the equation to predict how many products will be formed, you are ignoring any interferences from the environment, such as temperature.
