Simplifications for variables at constant pressure

Postby 006248274 » Sat Mar 16, 2024 9:18 am

I know that at constant volume, q=delta H, but what happens at constant pressure? Is there any simplification like that that we can do? Thanks!

Constant pressure is a required parameter for several equations:
U = H - P(deltaV)
w = -P(deltaV)
I am not sure if it helps with simplifying any of the equations, but it is an important factor to consider when selecting an equation to use.
