For chapter 8 question 49, when we are calculating the work using -delta nRT, the question never states the temperature but the solutions manual uses a temperature of 298 K; standard room temperature. Are we supposed to assume that the temperature is 25 degrees Celsius even though the question never explicitly told us the temperature?

According to the textbook, "most thermochemical data are reported for 298.15 K (25 C)", so I think it is safe to assume that the temperature convention for our HW problems is 298.15 K (25 C), unless otherwise stated.
