### Midterm

Will the Midterm be a cumulative test over chapter 8 and 9? If so will the questions be more conceptual like on test one or will they be more problem solving based problems like in the homework?

Both probably, but it's always helpful to understand concepts before you can carry out computations.

I agree. For the majority of his tests, a majority of points come from calculations/problem-solving, however it will definitely require an understanding of the concepts, so it would definitely be helpful to study both!

I agree with both of the above; I think there are more conceptual problems now compared to past years (based off of the past midterms and finals) so I'm definitely going to make sure to have those concepts down as well as practice the actual calculations. Test 1 might be a good example of how the rest of the quarter is going to be.

From what I know, the content from Outline 1 and Outline 2 on his website will be covered in the midterm. No electrochemistry.

Chapter 11 is on the second outline as well, so that may be on the midterm.

### Re: Midterm

Probably both chapter 8 and 9. Chapter 11 might be in there too
