The question reads:
"Oxygen difluoride is a colorless, very poisonous gas that reacts rapidly with water vapor to produce O2, HF, and heat:
What is the change in internal energy for the reaction of 1.00 mol OF2?"

How do you know that this is an ideal gas?

I think that we assume that this is an ideal gas because we assume that it only interacts with the water vapor and is not affected by other external forces.

I believe we assume ideal gas behavior just because we wouldn’t be able to solve the question if we didn’t.
