Deriving Enthalpy Equations

Postby Jonathan Christie 1I » Sat Mar 16, 2019 9:05 pm

What is the best way to derive equations for enthalpy from the sheet of constants and formulas we are given on exams?

You probably won't have to worry about deriving equations on the exam. :)

make sure you can switch equations around to find for something in particular within that equation. Thats always helpful.

For any derivations which I've had to do I always start by finding common factors/variables and playing around with them with substitution until I get the equation whic I need. Always look at which variables need to cancel and which ones you would need to keep, it is a crucial factor in derivations.
