Units on Question 5.57

Postby Justin Le 2I » Tue Jan 20, 2015 9:25 pm

The solutions guide says that the final answer is in kJ.mol-1, but I think that it should be in kJ because you multiply the final answer by 1.00 mol. Any other opinions? Thanks.

Personally, I think it should probably be kJ/mol because we are talking about the amount of internal energy or enthalpy of a certain compound or whatnot. And we measure it by kJ/mol. However, I'm not sure what problem you are referring to. It might be better if you can specify.

Oh sorry the question is 7.57, not 5.57.
