What is internal energy? How would you solve for it if you know delta H?

Internal energy is the energy contained within a system. Typically we are asked to find the change in U, internal energy, which we can do by using the equation Change in U= Delta H - Pressure Delta Volume.

Internal energy is the energy within a system. You can solve for the change of internal energy with the equation dU = dH + PdV. In this equation, where d stands for delta, dH represents the change in heat energy of the system while PdV represents the work either done on the system or done by the system. Because of this relationship, it is synonymous to the equation dU = q + w.

Internal energy is the energy necessary to create or prepare the state of the system, and is calculate by taking H (the enthalpy) and subtracting the pressure times the change in volume of the system.
