## Q reversible

### Q reversible

What does it mean that enthalpy is able to be reversible? What type of problem would be asked when we are to use the q reversible equation?

There will be two types of problems that you will be asked. 1: Irreversible and 2: Isothermal Reversible. Irreversible will be reactions that happen immediately, while isothermal reversible means that there are small infinite changes that you add up. What isothermal reversible involves is delta U=0. This means that q=-w. The work that is being done is replaced by heat going into the system, so temperature is able to stay constant. When you see irreversible work, use the equation W=-PdeltaV and when you see reversible, use W=-nrt(lnV2/V1)
