Residual Entropy

Postby 904564128 » Sat Mar 12, 2016 3:50 pm

What exactly is residual entropy in comparison to entropy? What is different about the equations used to find each?

residual entropy is calculating the number of states (or entropy) for a system close to zero energy, its the difference in entropy between a non-equilibrium state and crystal state of a substance close to absolute zero
