Arrange the following substances in order of increasing standard molar entropy: CHF3 (g), CF4 (g), CH3F (g), CH2F2 (g)

Standard entropies of large, complicated molecules are greater than those of smaller, simpler molecules. The more flourine atoms it has, the larger number of nucleis and electrons it has. This results in greater number of microstates. The answer is CH3F (g), CH2F2 (g),CHF3 (g), CF4 (g).
