### Entropy (9.11)

When solving problems for changes in entropy when given pressure values, would we need to show the derivation of the entropy equation for changes in pressure before solving the problem or would it suffice to explain that I used delta S=n*R*ln(p1/p2) because of the relationship between pressure and volume? That is, they are inversely related and that's why it's not ln(p2/p1).
Just in general: do we need to derive the entropy equations every time we solve the problems?

Equations do not need to be derived every time a problem is solved.

I'll try remember to comment on this during class.
