Phase changes and Entropy

How does the entropy change in a liquid phase as opposed to a gas phase? Which one would have more entropy and why?

Entropy always increases as a substance goes from solid to liquid to gas because as the intermolecular forces break, the molecules can move around and occupy more positions. Gas will have more entropy than a liquid.

Entropy is proportional to the amount of possible microstates possible, and when a liquid goes to the gaseous phase, it has more potential states to occupy.

Entropy always increases as substances go from the solid to the liquid phase. This is because the IMFs between the molecules break and the molecules are now able to occupy more positions than before.

Gases have more entropy than liquids and solids. Liquids have more entropy than solids.
