Heat for a reversible equation is qrev. Reversible equations are when the equation is at equilibrium.

Re: q rev
'Rev' just means reversible so q rev is used when calculating the heat for a reversible reaction.

Re: q rev
Also notice that this equation can't be used if there is change in V, P, or T, because you have to use one other equations. This also implies reversibility.

Re: q rev
When using deltaS = qrev/T to derive the equation for entropy under isothermal and isobaric conditions, work is used in replacementf for qrev. Why is this, and why does the equation end up being positive when work is negative?

Re: q rev
q is heat while rev refers to a reversible reaction so q rev is used for calculating heat for a reversible reaction.

Re: q rev
Q is the heat released/absorbed and rev refers to the fact that the reaction is reversible
