Boltzmann Formula
Will there be any problems on the midterm that requires us to use the Boltzmann formula and to know how to calculate for systems with different numbers of microstates?

Re: Boltzmann Formula
Since it is listed on the learning outcomes outlines and some of the problems assigned include this topic, I would definitely try to make sure to know how to use it and how to solve problems that involve it.

Yes, it is one of the topics Lavelle discussed in lecture and it is included in outline 4

Yes! S=kBlnW, and W= degeneracy aka (# of orientations/positions)^(# of atoms/ molecules).
