Adiabatic system and entropy

Postby ShravanPatel2B » Tue Mar 10, 2020 5:37 pm

What is a good explanation of an adiabatic system to be applied when faced in problems dealing with entropy?

An adiabatic system means that q=0 which does not necessarily connect directly to entropy.

In an adiabatic system, there is no heat transfer between the system and surroundings, so delta q = 0
