Third law of thermodynamics

Can someone explain the Third Law of Thermodynamics and its significance in relation to the entropy of a system as the temperature approaches absolute zero. Thank you

The third law states that as temperature approaches 0, entropy also approaches 0 because it is considered a "perfect state"
