Midterm 2012 Question 3A

In this question, the solutions say that the number of orientations for BH2F is 3, but I am unsure as to how this value was gotten. How does one figure out the orientations of the molecule to use that value in calculating the residual entropy?

Draw out the lewis structure of the molecule and see what places the attached atoms can fall into. Its like trading places: the maximum number of positions available for the connected elements to go to. Draw out the molecule and see for yourself.
