Small Error in S vs. Large Error in W

Postby Henry Krasner 1C » Mon Feb 04, 2019 5:18 pm

In class we discussed how due to the thermodynamic property there is a 'small' error in S, while there is a statistical 'large' error in W. What does this mean?

This just means that a large difference in W will only result in a small change in S.
