Reversible process total entropy

Postby Alen Huang 2G » Thu Feb 18, 2021 12:03 pm

Why is it that for a reversible process the delta S total is equal to 0?

I believe it is because any heat lost from the system is returned into it, so there is no change in heat/ temperature making S=q/t 0

Would this mean that the delta S surroundings is -nRln (V2/V1) or -nRln (P2/P1) ?
