calorimetry

Postby Lesley Perez 1F » Sat Mar 16, 2024 6:03 pm

Hi,

When dealing with a calorimetry can we automatically assume to use the equation q= nCpT(change in temp)?

you can either use mCsdeltat or nCmdeltat depending on the information you were provided with

Depending on what you were given, you can use q= nCp∆T or q= nCs∆T. When calibrating a calorimeter, you would use q=C∆T.
