Achieve Week 5&6 Question 5 Help

Postby Azlyn Hernandez 2E » Sat Mar 16, 2024 10:57 pm

I'm having trouble with this problem. Could someone check my work? I think my mol calculations for n might be off.

I can't say for certain this is your error, but you don't need to convert kPa to atm, you could instead use the R=8.3145. I actually calculated and its only a little off, 0.0153, but the rest of your calculations look correct. The only other possibility I noticed is that when I check the achieve solutions for temperature, they were using .2 as opposed to .15.

Hello! I believe you got the moles wrong. For n=PV/RT, you should have (kPa*V)/(8.3145*T). You do not need to convert kPa to any other value.
