for this problem to calculate work, since the internal energy is zero, would one just use w=-nRTln(v2/v1), or use w=-nRTln(p1/p2) and add it to
w=-nRTln(v2/v1)?

because the reaction is reversible and isothermal at variable pressure you use the 1=-nRTln(V2/V1) formula
