An increase in disorder would correspond to an increase in entropy, since entropy is the number of different states a system can be in. For example, when a substance goes from a liquid to a gas, there is an increase in entropy of the system, since the collection of gas molecules can occupy a greater number of states. This also corresponds to an increase in disorder of the system.
