Volume: $\Delta S = nR\ln \frac{V_{2}}{V_{1}}$
Temperature: $\Delta S = nC\ln \frac{T_{2}}{T_{1}}$

### Entropy Surroundings

When would the change in entropy of the surroundings be 0?

The change in the entropy of the surroundings of a system are equal to zero when there is no pressure / the reaction is taking place in a vacuum / when it is a free expansion reaction. I hope this helps! :)

Does increasing the temperature always change the entropy of the surroundings?

If you are referring to increasing the amount of heat gained by the surroundings, yes. However, at higher temperatures the same amount of heat gained by the surroundings will result in a smaller change in entropy.

### Re: Entropy Surroundings

The change in temperature would be when there is no heat or pressure.
