Differences in Heat Capacities

Postby shaya_smith1F » Fri Feb 16, 2024 2:05 pm

What is the difference between molar heat capacity, specific heat capacity, and heat capacity? What are the units of each?

Specific heat is the energy required the change 1g of a substance by 1 degree. Molar heat capacity is the energy required to increase 1 mole by 1 kelvin. Heat capacity is heat required to inepcrease the temperature of a substance by 1C
