why entropy for aqueous ions are negative

Will we have to know what the entropy for aqueous ions are mostly negative
(like in question 9.89)?

Hi, Andrea,
This question is related to our discussion of ordered vs. disordered systems, so yes, you do need to understand, that upon solvation, ions become a more ordered structure.
