$\Delta G^{\circ}= \Delta H^{\circ} - T \Delta S^{\circ}$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= -RT\ln K$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(products) - \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(reactants)$

How do we determine if a reaction is spontaneous without looking at Gibbs?

If K>1, then it is spontaneous. Also if E is positive, then the reaction is also spontaneous.
