$\Delta G^{\circ}= \Delta H^{\circ} - T \Delta S^{\circ}$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= -RT\ln K$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(products) - \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(reactants)$

Do we have to know how to derive any of the equations we learned in class using calculus for any tests?

No, I don’t think so. Dr. Lavelle just wanted to show us where the equations come from and how they relate to each other.

We are usually given the equations on the formula sheet so knowing how to derive should not be required.
