I don't understand how the second and third equations relate to the first one. How does that help us find the answer?

you use the 2nd and 3rd equation to find delta G for three moles of NADH and then divide it by the first equation because the first equation represents NADH per mole of ATP

Use the second and third reaction to get the total amount of energy released in the regeneration of ATP. Make sure to multiply he second equation by 3 to get the correct factor. Then divide the free energy by 30.5 (energy required in the first reaction) to get the number of moles of ATP that would be produced if all the free energy was used for it.
