$\Delta G^{\circ}= \Delta H^{\circ} - T \Delta S^{\circ}$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= -RT\ln K$

$\Delta G^{\circ}= \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(products) - \sum \Delta G_{f}^{\circ}(reactants)$

I understand how to calculate and use the equations to find deltaG, but could someone please explain what Gibbs Free Energy means conceptually?

Conceptually, the Gibbs Free Energy of a reaction represents the energy that is free and available to do useful work. When it is a negative value, it indicates that the reaction is able to use up the energy created and is spontaneous. When the value is positive, it represents the excess energy available after the reaction occurs, and shows that it is not spontaneous.
