Here is the exact statement:

The photosynthesis of glucose inside the chloroplast of an old growth Coastal Redwood tree.

I said deltaG > 0 and got it wrong.

For that question, my TA said that you should assume that the free energy from the sun is included in the reaction for photosynthesis, so the net free energy after the reaction completes is less than zero.

So deltaH in the plant would be positive as it is absorbing heat, T would be a certain temp, 298K for example, and deltaS would also be positive?
