Why did the solution manual use 273K rather than the 298K discussed earlier?

Since it's at STP, the value must at the a value of 273.15k

Its just a standard pressure (1 atm) and temperature (273.15 K) that is used for calculating gas properties like density. It's just another way of just giving the temperature and pressure of the system.
