Spontaneous Reaction
How do you how Gibbs Free Energy change accompanying a process is related to the direction of a spontaneous reaction? Does it mean that when ∆G is negative, a reaction is spontaneous?

Yes, when delta G is negative, the reaction is spontaneous. Dr. Lavelle proved this today when he showed how the entropy of the universe would increase.

Yes exactly, when ΔG is negative the reaction is favorable, and when it is positive it is unfavorable.

Yes, when delta G is negative the reaction is spontaneous which is more favorable that when it is positive and not spontaneous.

Yes, when the deltaG is negative, this gives a spontaneous and more favorable reaction.

being Negative, we know that this is an exothermic reaction. As it is an exothermic reaction, we don't need and input of energy for it to proceed. As a result, the reaction is favorable and thus, spontaneous.

Can someone please explain how a negative delta G makes a reaction favorable?

When ∆G is negative, the reaction is spontaneous. When ∆G is positive, the reaction is non-spontaneous. The picture above helps organize how Gibbs free energy changes under different conditions.
