Van't Hoff Equation

Postby KarenaKaing_1D » Sun Jan 31, 2016 9:46 pm

In Lavelle's course reader when he derives the Van't Hoff equation that can be used to calculate K at different temperatures, he subtracts ln K2 from ln K1. Shouldn't the final result be ln K1 divided by ln K2 instead of ln K2 divided by ln K1?

I think he actually subtracted ln K1 from ln K2 on p.44 of the course reader

ln K2 - ln K1 = ln (K2/K1)
= (-delta H)/R* (1/T2-1/T1)
