### Constants and formulas

Is Van‘t Hoff equation going to be given during the test? I ask this because I could not find it on the constants and formulas page on test 1.

I'm not totally certain, but I think that if it isn't explicitly given, we may just have to derive it from DeltaG = -RTlnK

I think it is a possibility that it will be on the midterm.

I think that we have to know it, and it will not be provided on the formula sheet. On the practice midterm we were asked to derive it ourselves.

Its not on the sheet he gave us online, but I think it's easy to derive. he gave us the two equations needed to derive it on the sheet, so you can just work from there.

In class, Lavelle said that he won't ask us to derive anything for the exam, but it will still be helpful to know how.

We never have to be able to completely derive an equation, only manipulate one and solve it.
