### Deriving Equations

Will we know how to derive equations from other equations? My TA did some deriving in discussion so I want to know if we will have to do that.

In my opinion, I believe that the quizzes are typically applying the knowledge you learned in class, so I do not think that there will be a question asking you to derive an equation, but then again there is always a possibility.

I agree, I don't think we will have to know how to derive the equations, but we will need to know how/when to use and apply them. Additionally, I think understanding the derivations helps make the material clearer and gives a deeper understand of why that equations works.
