Galvanic/Voltaic Cell

Postby Brevin Hensley 1C » Sat Feb 23, 2019 11:43 pm

Just wondering if these types of cells can be used interchangeably. Are there any differences between the two cells? Thank you.

From what I've read, they're used interchangeably.

They are! They both mean the same thing. "Galvanic cell" was named after Luigi Galvani, and "voltaic" is named afterAlessandro Volta, but they are both electrochemical cells!
