Memorize equation?

Postby Andie Jian 1D » Sun Feb 24, 2019 12:39 am

I was looking over the constants and equations sheet, and I didn't see the Van't Hoff equation on it. Does this mean we will need to memorize it and understand how to derive it?

I think you do have to memorize Van't Hoff equation and how it relates to Gibbs Free Energy, but I don't think you have to memorize how to derive it as long as you know when to use the Van't Hoff equation.

Usually, if there are homework problems on a topic, it fair game to show up on the test. So, if you find homework problems with this equation, memorize just in case it shows up on an exam.
