### Van't Hoff Equation

When do we use this equation? I don't recall learning this in lecture.

### Re: Van't Hoff Equation

I think we use Van't Hoff when trying to calculate how K is affected by a change in temperature

### Re: Van't Hoff Equation

You use it when you have a given equilibrium constant K at one temperature, and then you need to find the new equilibrium constant K at a new temperature.

### Re: Van't Hoff Equation

The Van't Hoff Equation is used to find the new equilibrium constant of a solution at a different temperature, given the K at a different temperature.

### Re: Van't Hoff Equation

The Van't Hoff equation is used to calculate K (equilibrium constant) at different temperatures if the change in enthalpy is known.

yes this is correct as we have a K1 and K2 and a T1 and T2

### Re: Van't Hoff Equation

Yes, I believe that the Van't Hoff equation could be on Test 2.
