when you multiply e to the sides to get rid of ln is e multiplied to the other side or is it e to the power of the other side?

it is e to the power, to get rid of Ln. Try some examples on your calculator.

### Re: ln

To cancel out ln from both sides, you raise the entire other side to the power of e.

### Re: ln

Both sides should be raised to the power of e to get rid of ln and to get the answer.

### Re: ln

In the same way, raising logx to 10 will cancel the log because standard log is base 10 (log10x). Ln is loge(x).

### Re: ln

it's e to the power of the other side! (x=e^lnx)
