Equation Sheet

Postby Najia Saleem 2G » Thu Feb 18, 2021 3:07 pm

Hello,

I noticed a discrepancy between the textbook and equation sheet concerning the Van't Hoff Equation. I noticed that T2 and T1 were switched around. Am I missing something?

The second picture has a negative sign factored out, so they're technically the same.

They're the same equation, one just has the negative sign pulled out to the front, which is why the T1 and T2 are switched!

They are the same, the second equation has a disturbuted negative sign.

The T1 and T2 are switched because one has a negative sign factored out! They're the same equation.

They are the same equation, just one has a negative sign factored out so it appears at the front of the equation.

You can use either, they just have the negative sign in different places.
