Renewable energy entropy

Postby 504656498 » Tue Feb 09, 2016 11:48 am

How do renewable sources of energy such as solar, wind, and tidal's entropies differ from one another?

They seem to be different just simply based on their state. Tidal (I'm assuming you mean hydropower is water, so it will have less entropy when compared to wind (air=gas) and solar (electromagnetic radiation).

Renewable sources of energy can differ from one another as they convert energy in different ways. Solar changed sunlight to electricity by capturing light particles and making them electricity. In a different way, tidal energy uses the gravitational energy of planets and space to become electricity.
