Examples Expected to Know
Is there a list of biological examples that we should know or should we just be aware of the examples Lavelle mentions in class?
Re: Examples Expected to Know
Although this is not a set list, the outlines for each topic sometimes mention specific biological examples to know. However, it is good to be familiar with anything that Dr. Lavelle mentions.

Re: Examples Expected to Know
I don't think there is a specific list to know or memorize. I think it is just important to understand the biological examples Dr. Lavelle mentions in class and on the homework problems. Usually the problems explain the biological concept too.

The only ones we should know are the ones he mentions in lecture. There are a few on the outline that I don't think he has covered on the lecture and even though they probably wouldn't bw tested on, it is good to know them

I don't think there is a specific list you have to memorize, but knowing/understanding the examples Dr. Lavelle mentions in class should be useful.

Re: Examples Expected to Know
I would think examples that we are expected to know would be in our notes or possibly from a homework question. For 14A the biological examples that we got on exams were covered in class.

I'd love to hear if anyone has any examples that they found in the book. But which ones has he mentioned during lecture?

Re: Examples Expected to Know
A typical rule of thumb is to just be aware of the biological examples he gave in lectures, any other examples that he doesnt mention we wont need to memorize or know specifically.
